Sauro Martella (founder of the VEGANOK Network) and Renata Balducci (President of AssoVegan) found the website Promiseland.it, an information site on human and animal rights.
Biodizionario.it is born, a reference point in the world of cosmetics and plant-based nutrition.
It’s the year of the inauguration of Veganblog.it, a blog with over 20,000 vegan recipes.
The VEGANOK Ethical Certification is born, the most widespread European standard for Vegan products.
The first VEGANFEST is held, a fair that has hosted celebrities and companies from every corner of the world. Twelve editions will follow.
The Italian Vegans Association Onlus is founded: an institution composed of the best Vegan professionals in Italy.
First edition of VEGANOK TG News, a Vegan-only newscast.
The VEGANOK Academy is born. The same year, the VEGANOK Observatory is inaugurated, a journalistic outlet at the forefront of providing correct information to benefit the consumer.
VEGANOK, represented by Sauro Martella, assumes the Presidency of the discussion table in Brussels for the definition of the unique European Vegan standard.
