Sorrento walnuts are characterized by a light and thin shell and a crunchy, aromatic, slightly oily kernel, creamy white in color and with a pleasant flavor.
Walnuts are rich in polyunsaturated fats and are useful in lowering the level of cholesterol in the blood. They contain vegetable proteins, vitamins and minerals and, in addition, ellagic acid which is antioxidant, anticancer and anti-infective.
