The Tuscan and vegetarian-vegan restaurant “La Mucca Gioiosa” was born in 2007 from an idea of Benedetta Mussi.
Open only in summer, it is a small jewel in the heart of the Fattoria della Gioiosa.
Divided between a charming indoor room obtained from the old cowshed and a magnificent outdoor terrace overlooking the Tuscan countryside, it offers two different menus every day, prepared with care and love, as well as a rich menu of typical Tuscan dishes. The kitchen is carefully prepared and prefers the processing of simple and genuine products, elaborating the poor recipes typical of the Tuscan country tradition.
Bread and pasta are homemade as well as desserts.
The speciality of the Gioiosa Cow is based mainly on the use of vegetables from the farm garden and seasoned strictly raw with homemade oil.
